An international team led by Marval O'Farrell & Mairal will provide a comprehensive report about a behavior that affects women around the world.

Sextortion is understood as a form of corruption in which sex -rather than money- is the currency of the bribe.

During 2015, Marval O'Farrell & Mairal coordinated the preparation of a study on laws and practices of eight jurisdictions relating to this conduct, together with leading firms in the respective jurisdictions.

On the basis of this study, the Thompson Reuters Foundation, in collaboration with the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), launched a guide "Combatting Sextortion: A Comparative Study of Laws to Prosecute Corruption Involving Sexual Exploitation."
